About the event
Join us for another Brown Bag Lunch & Learn! This time we will be heading to one of our Institutional Members, the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere. Tori Mason, Historic Site Manager at the Nashville Zoo and Jennifer Randles, Digital Materials Librarian at the Tennessee State Library and Archives, will be speaking about their recent trips to Miami, Florida, and Havana, Cuba, as they conducted research into the history of the Croft family.
The Lunch & Learn will take place in the Safari Room of the Croft Center on Friday, September 6 from 12PM to 1PM. Please come to the zoo's main administrative building, The Croft Center, rather than the main zoo ticket booth entrance. The Croft Center is located off a walkway near the middle of the main zoo parking lot. Look for the flag court and a sign pointing the way. Don’t forget to bring your lunch!
Please note that this event does not include admission to the zoo. If you are interested in visiting the zoo either before or after the talk, ICON members are invited to present their ICON membership cards at the ticket booth for free admission. Non-members will need to pay regular zoo admission. Not a member? We hope you will consider joining! Please visit our membership page for more information.
